Our Mission
To contribute to the conservation and sustainable use of the marine environment in Jordan through conservation programs, advocacy, education, outreach and empowerment.

Our Strategic Objectives

  1. To develop and implement marine conservation programs.
  2. To involve and empower the community in marine conservation efforts through education and awareness programs, with special emphasis on the youth.
  3. To contribute to the efforts of sustainable use of the marine environment in Jordan through integrating environmental conservation with socio-economic development.
  4. To develop and implement environmental advocacy programs through networking with national, regional and global partners.
  5. To develop the institutional, technical and financial capacity of JREDS to maximize brand quality.

The ultimate goal of JREDS is to involve the people in protecting the natural heritage. Along the way we want to embrace as many core partners as possible.
To reach this goal, JREDS cultivates balanced, comprehensive projects for sustainable development, which encourage both conservation and the well being of the communities.
