Proposal Writing Skills for Environmental NGOs in Jordan

Project Objectives:

The project aims to raise the capacity and knowledge of environmental NGOs in Jordan with respect to proposal writing skills, which address GEF’s focal areas and related environmental conventions as well as funding resources such as a small GEF.

Outstanding Achievements

• Conduct three training workshops targeting representatives from 70 environmental NGOs based in various areas in Jordan. The training were held in the following locations:

• Amman City: representatives from 20 different NGOs from Amman, Balqa, Jerash, and Madaba have been involved.
• Irbid: representatives from 25 different NGOs from Irbid, Ramtha, Ajloun, Jerash North Shoneh, and Mafraq have been involved.
• Aqaba: representatives from 25 different NGOs from Tafila, Maa’n and Aqaba have been involved.
